Reaching New Scales of Sight

Monitoring the Earth in Hyperspectral

As businesses, governments, and the financial sector face new requirements to become more socially responsible, they will also require new forms of data to measure their impacts, whether from a supply chain, policy, or risk perspective.

Although hyperspectral satellite data has been largely unavailable outside the field of remote sensing research, rapid advances in technology are enabling its use in agriculture, ecology and environmental monitoring, urban planning, and more. From detecting concentration of greenhouse gases, to monitoring crop irrigation levels, to detecting water pollution, hyperspectral data is opening up a new frontier in monitoring human-driven change on Earth.
