Analyze Temporal Variations to Improve Disaster Response 

The high temporal and spatial resolution of Planet imagery combined with ENVI® image analysis software, enables emergency responders to quickly and accurately map the extent and, in many cases, the severity of disasters.

In this presentation, several recent natural disasters will be examined to highlight tips and tricks to gain actionable intelligence to transform response efforts and prioritize resources. We’ll consider things like why image co-registration is important, how to not lose site of the end goal, and what types of publicly available data can be invaluable during the analysis.
