(With Tesera Systems)

About this download

Traditionally, land cover segmentation has been a manual, subjective, non-repeatable, time consuming, and expensive process that produced inconsistent results. Tesera’s Land Lines Image Segmentation (LLIS) is an automated approach to segmentation that enables consistent, repeatable, and rapid delivery of accurate linework and GIS-ready polygons at high resolution.

LLIS uses Planet multispectral satellite imagery and other data, such as LIDAR, to automatically delineate GeoJSON polygons to provide reliable, homogeneous land cover separation of vegetation cover, arming forest owners, foresters, and land managers with high quality, actionable data.
